Austin’s The Switch BBQ Switches Up the Standards With Some Interesting New Twists

September 13, 2019 By WooPigFoodie Leave a Comment

The Switch BBQ has certainly switched up your traditional barbecue standards with some interesting twists. Take this spin on chicken fried steak, which has a dark, spicy and peppery pan gravy:

The biggest hit of the day were these crispy smoky, fired hot wings. They came with either buffalo sauce or Alabama white sauce. I could eat a bucket of these with a nice cold local draft beer and good football game. I made sure to try both, but thought the buffalo style were the best.

The guys were really into these brisket enchiladas. I was less so given all the cheese, but I sure like the concept.

All of these items were interesting and different takes on traditional barbecue entrees. The Switch BBQ is a good place to come and sit a spell, and try something new. Check it out; you just might like to switch it up sometimes.

The Thing About Fried Pickles

The thing about fried pickles is that you know they’re going to be hot. And you know that little cup of ranch dressing isn’t going to do it. You’re going to burn your mouth, your hands, and have hot vinegary dill pickle juice streaming down your chin and dripping onto the table. That’s just the way it is. And you don’t care. So you dive in, and burn yourself good. And it’s fantastic.
